Modern Languages Awareness Week - September 2019
During Modern Language Awareness Week, Loch Primary School celebrated French and Spanish language and culture by completing a variety of activities. The Virtual Reality kits were used to transport children to famous landmarks in France and Spain. Children had the opportunity to taste French food such as Brie and Brioche and create famous French landmarks using construction materials. Primary 5 were also visited by a French teacher from Cathkin High School.
There was an art challenge across the whole school. Primary 1 to 4 created artwork inspired by famous French artists such as Henri Matisse and Claude Monet. The artwork will be displayed in the PE Hall for everyone to view next week, with the winners from each class receiving a certificate during Friday’s assembly.
