Our Pupil Council has the responsibility of representing the views and opinions of their classmates in making decisions about whole school initiatives. The Pupil Council also work with St Anthony’s PS Pupil Council to make decisions about joint projects.
The Eco Committee has the responsibility of identifying eco priorities for the school to develop through our Eco Action Plan, ensuring our Eco School status is maintained.
The Health Committee promotes physical activity and sport throughout Loch Primary School, incorporates our Junior Road Safety Officers and takes responsibility for planning and supporting our Health Week.
Our Charity Committee are responsible for selecting which charities our school will support, ensuring both local and global charities are represented. Their remit involves them in planning and organising whole school events.
Our Social Enterprise Committee are responsible for planning, organising and running the ‘LP Community Cafe’. Members of our local community are invited to participate in these events. The committee have achieved a ‘Social Enterprise in School’ Award for their successful themed cafes.
Rights Respecting Schools
The RRS Committee promotes whole school awareness about ‘The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child’. Their aim is to increase pupil awareness of their rights and responsibilities.
