'Friends of Loch' (formerly known as Parent Council)
Every parent/carer automatically becomes a member of the Parent Forum when their child starts school, enabling any parent/guardian to get involved with school life in whatever way they can, whether it is helping out on a trip or disco, participating in parent/carer curriculum workshops, supporting an extra-curricular sports activity, sharing work place knowledge with a group of children in the classroom or as a representative on the Parent Council. The 'Friends of Loch' offers parents/carers the opportunity to have an input into the discussions of important issues affecting the school, enables parents/carers to get involved across a range of activities and also assist with fundraising on behalf of the school. Our 'Friends of Loch' meet once per month at the school and always give a warm welcome to anyone who comes along. This is usually the last Monday of each month and lasts approximately one hour.
Would you like to join our group? The time and effort you give would be very much appreciated and WILL help to make a difference to our school and the education/experiences that it provides for all of the children. Contact our 'Friends of Loch' to find out more!
